 It’s likely that several attributes fitting together like pieces in a jigsaw puzzle come together to make a great perfomer. We will be exploring some of these pieces!

2 PM Crystal Manich
Virtual Performance:
Classical Music and Practices for the Digital Realm Manich will be sharing behind the scenes insight from her recent film productions with Wolf Trap Opera, Pittsburgh Opera and Arizona Opera. She will also offer tips on how classical musicians can effectively film themselves, and share how she works with young artists in her mentorship program.

The Art of Interpretation
A talk that applies to all of the performance arts, addressing the wonder of classical music and how it is kept dazzlingly alive through the prism of every age.

Morris will offer advice on how to maintain your string instrument during the upcoming winter months.

“Keep Going –And What Will the New Normal be Anyway: Thoughts from a Psychiatrist-Musician”
Presentation and free discussion of keeping our music, our hopes and our spirits going in such a stressful and uncertain time. The presentation will include thoughts about repertoire choices in sad or stressful times, and will start with performance of a brief piano piece of particular interest in this regard.
